The strategy gaming release schedule never really stops, and this week is no exception. Railroad Corporation 2 finally hits 1.0, Going Medieval has a launch date locked in, and Sherman Commander has a demo you should probably check out. Here’s everything worth knowing from the past few days.
Railroad Corporation 2 Hits 1.0

After more than a year in Early Access, Railroad Corporation 2 from Corbie Games and Iceberg Interactive has launched its full 1.0 release on Steam. The railway management title exits Early Access with a handful of meaningful additions including the Big Boy locomotive, active AI competitors that react to your decisions, and expanded industry chains covering orchards, beverages, and canned goods. It is priced at £33.50 on Steam. If you bounced off the Early Access version, now is probably the right time to revisit it. Full Steam Ahead! Watch the trailer.
Going Medieval Sets March 12 as 1.0 Date

Foxy Voxel’s medieval colony sim Going Medieval is leaving Early Access on March 12, having shifted over a million units during its time in development. The 1.0 update brings a Renown system that tracks your settlement’s progress across trade, military, and intellect, six Grand Objectives that give each campaign a conclusion, four starting scenarios, and a batch of new roles and buildings for your settlers. It has been in Early Access since 2021, so this has been a long time coming. A demo is available on Steam now. Trailer.
Movierooms: Cinema Management Delayed to March 17

Mad Pumpkins has pushed the Early Access launch of Movierooms: Cinema Management back to March 17. The cinema tycoon takes you through different eras of film history, from early nickelodeons to modern multiplexes, with a story mode built around restoring iconic directors and actors to their rightful place in history. It will launch at $14.99 with a 15% discount for the first two weeks. Small Italian studio, ambitious concept, check the Steam page and the trailer.
Town to City Gets a Free Terraforming Update in March

Galaxy Grove and Kwalee have announced a free update for Town to City arriving this March. The Terraforming Update lets you reshape the landscape of your towns, adds props for play parks, introduces bridges across waterways, and brings a clutch of quality of life improvements including undo brushing and collision-free placement. If you have the game already, it is a no-cost addition. Steam page, trailer.
Sherman Commander Launches March 14, Demo Live Now

Daedalic Entertainment and Iron Wolf Studio have confirmed March 14 as the release date for Sherman Commander, a tactical tank sim that blends first-person tank action with squad-based RTS combat. A playable demo is available now through Steam NextFest alongside a developer commentary video from Iron Wolf’s Artur Salwarowski, who walks through the design decisions and how open playtest feedback shaped the final game. The increased unit autonomy and emphasis on commanding from inside the tank rather than a tactical map sounds like the right direction. Worth checking the demo on Steam.
