Weekend Roundup – 21 March 2026

It’s time for the weekend roundup of strategy gaming news, and if you’re waiting on Total War: Medieval III which is still years away, we have some feudal-based games to keep you entertained. But first, something from the most gameified conflict in human history.

Call to Arms: Panzer Elite Gets New Missions and the Panzer III Ausf. N

The latest update for Call to Arms: Panzer Elite adds two new campaign missions — “Le Dézert”, placing you in command of the embattled 352nd Infantry Division under American assault, and “Retake the Airfield”, a US-side fast armour operation across open terrain. A new skirmish map, Radio Tower, rounds out the content alongside the arrival of the Panzer III Ausführung N, the final production variant of the Panzer III, armed with a 7.5cm KwK 37 for close-quarters and anti-infantry work. Checkpoints have also graduated from experimental to stable for single-player. Steam Page

A Weaponsmith building and city feast mechanics have also been added. The full campaign unlocks shortly before release. Steam Page

Kinstrife Signs with Hooded Horse

Medieval strategy RPG Kinstrife, from German studio Finitude, has been picked up by Hooded Horse. Built by former Mount & Blade modders, the game drops players into a non-linear sandbox set in 13th-century Germany during the power vacuum of the Great Interregnum, building wealth, gathering followers, and fighting with a physics-simulated combat system. No release date yet, but with Hooded Horse behind it this is one to watch. Steam Page
